Baker?s Bar in South Windermere never misses. My go-to is the Bolognese Pizza which is the stuff comfort food dreams are made... of. Homey meat sauce, mozz, and red chili oil. Pro tip: order the Big Salad and eat it on top of the pie. A new addition totheir menu is the New Pesto and my love of the Bolognese pie has now become polyamorous. The New Pesto has (you guessed it),pesto base with sausage, roasted garlic, roasted tomato, cheese, and topped with arugula. Aside from the killer food, Baker?sBar has a cool and laid back vibe with pinball machines, alien figurines, and a rad Point Break poster. Only complaint is theydon?t get Bally South for us Braves fans but that is forgivable as soon as that sweet, sweet pizza hits my tastebuds. Read more

This is the best pizza I have ever put in my mouth! I've had great pizza before but nothing like this. I only wish that I had... asked about the off menu food. ASK ABOUT THE OFF MENU FOOD! Baker's Bar is set up as casual restaurant but you'll feelcomfortable as a more classy diner as well. A larger than expected wine menu coupled with tasty cocktails and a nice selectionof beers will only enhance your experience.???? Very kid and date friendly with a few arcade games along the wall. This smallrestaurant/bar has a unique atmosphere with chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling. You won't have to worry about missing thebig game either because they have several TVs hanging behind the bar. By far the best pizza I've had in Charleston. I'm guessing it's not more widely known because it's kind of tucked away on a side... street but I'm glad to have found it. Garlic knot was great to start along with the big salad. Supreme, mushroom, and spicypesto pizzas were all great. We were fighting over who got the extra slice to take home since we had an odd number left. :) Read more
