Wow!! What a Place! We had a group of 6 and we’re quickly served. If you don’t get fries with your meal, shame on you. The... Burger meat was ok… but the chili was phenomenal!! Will be back next Friday! Thank you so much for a wonderful time ?? Read more
Off the bat the service here was super friendly even when the hostess was busy when we walked in. Ordered several items... including the Beer, Meat, Cheese appetizer. The platter was pretty good except that the meat was dry. The Stag & Boar Burger wasgood but had a very unique flavor I'm not sure I would get again. My fries were drenched in salt to the point my first bite madea crunch. I couldn't eat another one. My girl friend ordered a plate of bacon cheese fries. All of the top fries were dried outand gross. All of the fries underneath were soggy. I'm sure how they accomplished that but overall not very good. She alsoordered The Mayor which was overall bland. My total bill with 3 drinks was about $100. Due to my issues with the meal theydropped that down to about $75. Overall I would say it wasn't worth what I paid for the quality or taste of food. Read more
This place was so great! Caroline was our server and she was amazing! We got a scotch egg which was phenomenal. The mustard... sauce was on point. I got the grilled cheese and a side of fries and ranch. For me, the bread was too toasted and the ranch wastoo thick, but the flavors were spot on. Owner came over to greet & thank for the business (nice touch), waitress & hostess were friendly. Scotch egg was insanely... delicious. Flavors were on point! Stag & boar burger had great flavor (recommended for a foodie). Disco fries were ok. A bitsalty for me but I think it’s because I was blown away by the symphony of flavors in the scotch egg & burger. We ordered the Jo's Disco Fries to share and I ordered the Southpaw Burger. Everything was so delicious! The fries came out... steaming hot and they were seasoned to perfection. The cheese was super stretchy and the gravy was a great addition to thefries. My burger was cooked perfectly and paired very well with the pickles and pickles onions.
