Wanted to go to Millers but there was an hour and a half wait. We stumbled upon Eli’s Table and needed some relief from the... heat. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was amazing. The sweet potato wafflewith cinnamon butter was delicious. Unfortunately the restroom was untidy and there was a lot of mold on the ceiling tiles inthe dining room. Read more
Food was good but the service was absolutely horrendous. Went with my coworker, my boss, and his boss. Yes, my steak was as good... as it looked. Everyone agreed I ordered the best, though, and generally the others were happy, but not overly impressed. Theywere incredibly short-handed when we went. It's hard to fault them for that, but it's totally unacceptable to put in your drinkorder before your dinner order and not get your drinks until almost a full hour later. If there were more stars, they would get them! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I can't think of a better place... to have gone! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere comfortable and inviting, and the food was out of this world! The baralso serves up a lovely Courtyard Punch! Food wise, we highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, the shrimp & grits, and thebeignets and creme brulee! Amazing!!! P.S. the weekend Maitre d' is knowledgeable, friendly, and a lot of fun! Spectacular meal. The fried green tomatoes are among the best I’ve eaten, light and crispy and flavorful. The salads were both... excellent, and the roasted beets in particular done extremely well. The Foragers’ Filet was one of the best steak experiencesof my life and the garlic mashed potatoes and haricot verts a great compliment to it. Wish I had snapped a shot of our entrees! Dylan was amazing as a server! Chicken and waffles is a definite must get! And the... crème brûlée was toasted to perfection!
