We have eaten at Bridge Road Bistro many times, both on date nights and as a family, and I have never been disappointed. The... food is consistently good and fresh. My favorite dishes are the simple ones. The flash-fried brussels sprout leaves areabsolutely incredible, as are their summer menu replacement, the kale chips. But all the entrees are equally delicious. Otherrestaurants in town may get more hype—and we have dined at those spots as well—but my choice is BRB. Read more

Unfortunately, my experience was bad. I decided to give Bridge Road Bistro another try after a couple prior disappointing... experiences (one experience involved being served frozen vegetables). I’ll start with the positive tonight- my side salad wasgreat and the music was on point. What was wrong? - While waiting a long time for my food, I watched a staff person eat off aplate in the kitchen. - I saw the cook finger food to check for temperature. - My mixed berry drink had molded berries. - Mysteak was void of any flavor. The chain restaurants in town provide a better seasoned steak. - The manager had a sourattitude. Bridge Road Bistro used to be a respected food venue in Charleston. But in the past couple years, numerous newrestaurants have far surpassed Bridge Road Bistro in every measurement. Just across the street is 1010 Bridge - a superiorestablishment. Bridge Road Bistro is no longer worthy of being extended the benefit of the doubt. Save your money and tastebuds- choose somewhere else. Read more
