Root Beer is the best I've EVER tasted, I regretted not being able to bottle it and take some with me. The pizza and appetizer... were excellent and the service was prompt and friendly from beginning to end. Read more

Pies and Pints is a great pizza bar. My favorite things here are the Pizza Skins (think potato skins but on slices of bizza... crust) and the Grape and Gorgonzola pie. Their seasonal offerings are always worth a try too. Today we tried their Date Nightpie and I enjoyed it quite a bit. If you don't really like sweet things, this one may be too much for you, but I liked it. Onegreat thing about Pies and Pints is if you want to try something new but aren't sure you'll like it, you can always do a halfand half pie with something you know you like, which is what we did this time with their Chicken Gouda pie. We've been hereseveral times and I don't remember having a bad experience once. Give them a try if you haven't, they're great. Read more

Pies & Pints has absolutely delicious pizzas. I've never had a bad choice here. If you are comfortable dining in, this location... also typically stocks a wonderful selection of local beers. I highly recommend Pies & Pints to anyone visiting Charleston! (Welast ordered a large pizza - half Grape & Gorgonzola, half Heirloom Tomato) Read more

Excellent thin crust pizzas. My wife and I tried different pizzas and both of us thought it was one of the best we have ever... had. Also they have a huge beer and wine selection. Service is solid. Definitely a must try place. Read more

OH. My. Word! We loved it. We were in town for one night. We met our oldest son & his family 1/2 between our homes to pick up... our Grandkids for a few weeks. Our original plan was to order pizza from the hotel, hang out there and swim. However, we arrivedearlier than planned and decided to go out. My husband Googled pizza places and found this place & one other. We chose the"other places" because it was closer to our hotel. We got there & it was carry-out & delivery only. My husband missed that part,LOL. So, onward we went to Pies & Pints. So glad we did! It was fabulous. The streets of downtown were blocked off, there weretents set up with tables to eat outdoors, and games galore! The first thing we saw, down the street was some families outsideplaying bags. We turned the corner from the FREE parking garage and saw these cool miniature golf pads. Each created by andthemed for area businesses. And guess what - it's FREE to play! We checked in at Pies & Pints and was told about a 40 minutewait. My sons and I headed to the bar to pick out some craft beers. Not being from here, we had no idea what we'd like and theirdescription of the choices is non existent. BUT - we got to try ANY of them we wanted!! The bartender was excellent. Hedescribed each one we asked about, gave us tastings and was fun to interact with. They even allowed us to walk around the streetto play putt putt with the grands while we waited. Our table was ready in 42 minutes, long enough time to get in 6 holes & beready for another beer. We were seated outside which worked out well for the Grands to make friends and be entertained while wewaited for our pizzas. We started with the rosemary flat bread with goat cheese which BTW goes perfectly with their lemonhefeweizen. Our server was RIVER (trust me you want to ask for him) & he hit it out of the park. He was personable, busy yetengaging, gave incredible suggestions, and never let our drinks run out! We went for the Street Corn & the Mar Read more
