The food was decent, the restaurant was clean. The waitress wasn't friendly. She actually made a gagging face when asked about... some food options. She wouldn't let us split our bill because we had more than 6 people. She never asked us how our food was.Anyone that came in the door was told it was an hour wait. Also our bill had 20% gratuity added to it. I'm glad I saw thatbefore I tipped her anything more. Read more
Don?t eat here unless your desperate. Food was super meh. I ordered the poe boy, it was recommended by the waitress and it had 4... pieces of shrimp on it. I counted. I didn?t even complain not worth it. Then my wife ordered the French dip sandwich and theoverloaded with waaaay to much meat to even eat. Please don?t make the mistake we did. Great location with both indoor and outdooe seating overlooking a park across the street. Went to this place on a Saturday... afternoon and was busy. The service was quick. Ordered BLT chicken wrap and Reuben whitefish sandwich. Delicious, and thequantity was right for the price.. Definitely recommend. Read more
Quaint little Gastropub overlooking the park. Friendly staff, great bar and extensive menu with a variety of offerings. The... whitefish Ruben was excellent- blackened whitefish, Swiss, thousand island dressing and coleslaw with steak fries on theside. We also tried the zucchini fries which were perfectly cooked. This review is one that has been a long time coming. I am more upset with the establishment and how it has been run overall than... anything else. My fiancé and I frequent Charlevoix often and always come here. I got married up in Charlevoix August of thisyear. July 2021, a year and one month before my wedding, my fiancé and I drove 4 hours upnorth and met with the general managerof the establishment Jaime. We agreed upon renting the third floor for our rehearsal dinner, as well as agreed upon a menu.Jaime told me we were all set and would talk closer to the date. Fast forward to January of 2022, I reached out just to check onthings. I talked with a man named Bryan who told me the restaurant was unfortunately under new management, but that myaccomodations would nonetheless still be honored. Bryan told me I could no longer have the third floor, but I could have thesecond floor - as there was a charge now that Jaime was not going to charge me while she was under management. Bryan assured meeverything would be all set for my wedding in August (7 months away). I decided because of the events that already took placethat I would check in AGAIN with the establishment closer to our wedding. After multiple calls, I finally got ahold of themanager who stated Bryan no longer worked there and that they had no record of my accomodations. I sent Larah my email chainswith Bryan now 3 months out from my wedding. Larah explained the establishment would be permanently closing soon due to staffingissues (which I can see did not happen). There was no place available at that point in time to have my rehearsal dinner at. I amoverall frustrated with my experience with this establishment and its (numerous) owners. It was an unfortunate event to behappening to someone who made sure to plan everything out accordingly with ample time. We will not be going back! Read more
