Excellent as always. And very filling. Got the meatloaf, with pinto beans, hash browns, fresh broccoli and hot out of the oven... cornbread. I'm stuffed! Had to take half the cornbread home with me. Lets start with the sanitation score, a 92 which is a half a point from my walkout threshold. Next, half of the restaurant is... empty and I waited a full 20 minutes for the table. My server was nice but like everwhere else, they are grossly understaffed.She's the reason this place gets the 2 stars. She earned them both. Another customer is trolling the dining room for emptytables with syrup and doing quite well for herself. The kitchen and wait staff are in the back fighting over something fierce.So much so a family just left their table and walked out. Host was amazing, lady who sat us down was very nice, our waiter Shane was very attentive and the cashier was very sweet too. We... came from our daughter's fashion show and was just hungry. This Cracker Barrel was closest to our way back home so we stoppedby. We've been here too many times this year, and all our visits were great. Depending on the time and day of our visit, it'seither Angelica or Shane that's our server. They're both awesome. We almost always get Shane and he is very attentive to ourneeds. We don't mind tipping more than 20% when the service was above and beyond. As usual, Shane did an awesome job. Food wasgreat too. We ordered steak and we forgot to tell Shane how cooked we wanted it so he went back to ask to make sure we get oursteaks the way we want it, medium rare. ???? The sides were great.
