Worst service I?ve ever experienced. I ordered. Went and sat down. 45 minutes later I go back up and ask where my food is. They... never put the ticket in. I wasn?t upset, accidents happened. They were completely unwilling to give me a discount or refund onany of the food which took another 30 minutes to come out. Ridiculous. Read more
Wonderful setting and atmosphere! Very good drinks. Food needed more BAM as ours was bland. Catfish poboy was ok, good batter on... fresh catfish. Remoulade was bland. Came with a few homemade chips. Hush puppies were good. Jambalaya was ok, lacking depth offlavor and spice. Odd service and ordering setup, you have to go to the counter and place your order and they hold your creditcard. This leaves new customers waiting in line with those trying to pay to leave. Plus if you want another drink or more food,get in line. Read more
In three words: cozy, welcoming, delicious. The whole place is very charming. There are plenty of outside seats with fire... places, and there are a handful of tables inside too. I was there with my husband and two teens. We ate house salad, gumbo,alligator po boy, blackened shrimp, jambalaya, and beignets! All of the food was delicious and the portions were justright. We stumbled upon this restaurant walking in the neighborhood on our way to another restaurant. The atmosphere was magical with... the twinkling lights, fire top tables, and New Orleans decor. Craft cocktail we?re on point, jambalaya was delicious, clamchowder was unlike anything we?ve ever had. The beignets were warm fresh and the best we?ve ever had! The staff were so charmingand friendly. The chef operates out of his adorable home converted into cozy woodsy food wonderland. The clean blankets forsnuggling into were a fabulous touch!
