Sushi was fresh and ready relatively quickly for a Saturday night. I had the rainbow roll while my husband had the hidden dragon... roll. The pieces of mine topped with shrimp tasted the freshest. I would have preferred the roll to be a bit more chilled.Perhaps some minutes in the fridge would've helped matters but I was starving and unwilling to wait. There was some browning onthe avocado on my roll which is fine but not necessarily appetizing. My husband had nothing but good things to say about hisroll. Also got vegetable spring rolls for an appetizer which I was completely unimpressed by and wouldn't order again. The beefnegimaki was the better of the appetizers, I liked the presence of the scallion but thought it was a tad small for the price.Likely to get sushi here again, but I'll try something else on the menu next time. I have eaten here a couple of times at the recommendation of a family member, and the food is incredible! The tofu teriyaki is... delicious! The tofu is slightly fried, just enough to be a little crispy on the outside, yet soft and creamy on the inside. Thesauce is really tasty, and it is served with mixed vegetables, including a potato mixture that is out of this world! The serviceis courteous and fairly quick, and the atmosphere is very nice. Both times I have dined at Mitsuba with a friend, and we reallyliked the sushi, too. We will be coming back for sure! Read more
