Cute place in a very convenient location. The food selection was a bit limited - there was no scones, muffins or biscuits.... Service was a bit slow but friendly. The seasoned breakfast potatoes were my favorite thing, but it was served cold. Read more
My family and I stopped in here on a whim for brunch on a random weekday and I was surprised to see busy waiters busing so many... full tables. I figured that's always a good sign, and sure enough, we had a great time. The owners and waiters were so patientwith the two toddlers we had in tow (even when one of them mischievously toppled over his entire cup of water onto the table),and the food was delivered with impressive expediency. I thought the prices seemed a little high for what we ordered. Forinstance, I ordered a breakfast platter that included two eggs, toast, bacon, and potatoes, but the serving size seemedsurprisingly small compared to the near fifteen-dollar ticket price. That being said, the potatoes here are absolutely divine. Idon't know what's being done to them in the kitchen, but they were preternaturally crispy on the outside and as smooth as mashedpotatoes on the inside. Quite possibly my favorite brunch spot in New Jersey. We've dined here a couple times, and the service & food is always... impeccable. The ingredients are genuinely fresh and it makes an impact to the taste of the meal. Back in the fall, they had anautumn skillet with roasted root vegetables and egg and it was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. We came back in thespring to enjoy some Eggs Florentine & lemon ricotta pancakes and once again we had a great experience. The reservation systemis nice, but you cannot call ahead you must request a table in person. The wait typically has been ~20 min (worth it!). Theyhave indoor and outdoor seating available. Read more
Nice little cafe for breakfast and lunch in downtown Chatham. The staff was very pleasant and we were even welcomed by a young... man with an amazing smile ( he is part of our special needs community ). Upon arrival the place was not busy ( we arrived at9am? but by the time we left the restaurant was hopping! Seemed they had many carry out orders in addition to their insidedining. Our cappuccinos were made perfectly? 4 different dishes were order ? from yogurt parfait to variety of omelets . Ourserver allowed us to stay chit chatting for some time after we finished our meal.
