This isn't the first Champy's to which I've been, but it was solid. My party and I seemed to have caught it at a good time... because of being between two meal rushes. The service was standard for what one would expect of this kind of establishment witha friendly server, but the food is the real winner. I don't know what Champy's does with their breading, but it is consistentlysome of the best boneless fried chicken I've had. One member of the party mentioned the salad they ordered didn't haveparticularly good greens, but the buffalo chicken on top was very good. Food was good. I had a chicken sandwich, it was ok but their slaw was real good and the chicken strips were good. Service was... very friendly. They were either over worked or distracted and we didn?t see our server much but when she came around she wasgreat. It did seem very expensive. Family of 4 youngest being 16 and our ticket was $80. I wish there was a 3.5 option. The chicken was hot and fresh but salty. The mac and cheese was NOT good. I can?t even... describe the taste but it wasn?t mac and cheese. The baked beans were okay but had too many onions. My husband had the smokedbuffalo wings and they tasted confused but maybe not as confused as the blue cheese sauce. His French fries were just okay.
