My friends and I, a total of 7, were excited to try this place out today after checking out the menu. However, after this... experience we do not plan on coming back. We arrived at noon and ordered by 12:15. We did not get our food till 1:30. We hadordered a combination of 4 burger meals, chicken sandwich, pasta, and fish tacos. During this an hour and 15 minute wait, wewere not once told by our server of being short staffed and she did not seem to care about the service she was providing.Another table that arrived after us, a party of 6, got their food and left before all our food even arrived. Our server may haveforgot to put our food in, but she needs to let us know that we are aware. The restaurant was not very busy at this time eitherand other waitresses were more attentive than ours. The food was delicious but the wait far exceeded how long it should havetaken. One of my friends asked for his check and when she came back she gave him the wrong one. She never once asked if weneeded anything. When she brought us the checks she didn?t even bring us a pen. We had to ask another waitress to borrow one.Most of her time was spent back in the kitchen area not paying attention to her tables. Read more
Apparently, I'm the chosen one tonight. The toothpick in the picture was completely hidden in the "Devils on Horseback" app.... Almost got stabbed in the mouth for a starter. Let's talk about logistics, Restaurant is next to a parking lot that charges $9for 2 hours minimum. We are told 30 minute wait. 50 minutes later we get seated. Fine, we perused the menu already and orderedimmediately. 40 minutes later, we are checked on and ask when our food will arrive as our parking time is running out at thispoint. We are then given an apology and told the kitchen is short-handed so there is a wait on food. Something that is bothmanageable and understandable if customers are informed up front about it. That would be the servers only misstep, however. Foodwas...well...good enough, no standouts once it came after I had to run out and spend another 9 dollars on parking. App priceremoved by server, manager never once deemed an apology needed for the extra cost of the wait, mismanagement of information tothe customer and potential lawsuit of a sharp foreign object in the food, which at least the bill admits to being there. Delicious! Stopped in on a day off which was after a large event and the wait was only 5 minutes. We got the alligator for an... appetizer. Shrimp boom boom tacos and a buffalo chicken sandwich and all of it was so good. Just what we needed. Service was ontop of it! Never a dry cup. I will definitely be coming back for those tacos!
