Today was my first visit at Biscotti & Cie, and I can absolutely say I'm about to become a regular! I've been trying to find a... cozy coffee shop like this one for so long! Tried their pumpkin chai latte (which was amazing), and looking forward to tryingthe food next time I visit, it looked delicious as well! The ambiance is incredible, there's even a fire pit outside where youcan warm up and relax. This place is a gem, strongly recommend. Read more
Disappointing: two pressed sandwiches, one salad, two small Pellegrino's cost over $60. The sandwiches came on non-descript... boards with NOTHING else ($15/sandwich). Not a sprig of parsley to garnish. The salad ($17) was TERRIBLE-inedible. It was almostall iceberg lettuce (not romaine as indicated on the menu), no cilantro, sprinkled with a minimal amount of toppings and heapsof syrupy-slimy mango sauce that tasted more like a spring roll dipping sauce with refried beans scraped on the side of the bowlthat looked like leftovers. Cheese-a few shreds scattered on top, more of which may have helped off-set the sickly sweetunpalatable dressing. Very sad to write this as the place itself is exceptionally cute with beautiful gardens. No excuse forpoorly executed lunch dishes. Picture: don't let the few kernels of corn and corn chips confuse you with cheese nor the depth ofthe bowl that contains heaps of iceberg. REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS PLACE. Read more
This cafe has such a great ambience, you really feel like your in a cabin. The seating inside is nice but the best part is the... outdoor seating area, especially in the evening because they have fairy lights and a fire pit. So far I have only tried thedrinks from here but they were all good. My favourite is the London fog with oat milk. They also have other dairy free milkssuch as soy and almond which is always a plus. Biscotti is a quint little place to warm up after a nice walk in the Gatineau Park. It offers a cozy atmosphere with mismatched... furniture and decor which makes it completely charming. Great hot beverages selection and tasty oven baked pizzas (the pizzacrust is delicious). The restaurant is pretty much a self-serve concept where you order at the counter and pretty much takecare of the rest (you set your table, utensils, plates, napkins, get your food and dispose of it when you are done. I havenothing against this concept once you are familiar with it but the restaurant should make more of an effort to clean anddisinfect tables between patrons. Otherwise lovely place! Read more
