Went to DFG for a big dinner in one of their private rooms in the back and had a wonderful meal with excellent service. Usually... prefer the traditional setting in the DTC but the level of attention to detail from the waitstaff plus the quality of food fromthe sides to the dessert was top notch. The Pittsburgh bone-in rib-eye was dynamite, would def order again for the next specialoccasion. Side note, the art around the restaurant is pretty awesome for a steakhouse. Read more

I keep going back and I don't know why... We choose to dine on the rooftop which is open seating. We found a nice table that... had yet to be cleared of glasses and the check from the previous diners. After 10-15 minutes we took it upon ourselves to clearthe table so we could be seated. The servers were very nice but it seems that they are understaffed and probably a bitoverworked. Appetizers and Drinks is what I would recommend. The mains are disappointing to say the least. The Steaks wereundercooked (again) as all the steaks came out rare with a cool center regardless of the temperature you had requested. Theoutside of my steak was charred and all the steaks were a bit tough. The lobster tail was soft and mushy instead of being firmor crisp and gave us pause as we wondered if it was fresh and safe to eat. We choose not to take the risk. Same story with theshrimp cocktail. Some of the shrimp were fresh and properly cleaned while others were soft and mushy and had not had thedigestive tract fully removed as would be expected. The location is great with the bar, dining room and rooftop providing awonderful atmosphere. So if your in the mood for just drinks and appetizers this is a very good spot. Read more
Great place! Took my wife and my friend Alia here for a nice date night out. The steaks and starters were very good. My steak... was cooked perfectly. The desserts and drinks were also all very good, the price was as expected. Service was great our serverwas very attentive and professional! I just wish they had more open seating for folks without a reservation, because I’ve gonethere without an appointment and was told the wait would be a couple hours. I now always make a reservation but for first timerswanting to try the place , it kinda sucks to be turned away or told the wait is more than 2 hours. What an amazing dining experience. The fish and chips were hands down the best I've ever eaten. The scallops were expertly... seared yet buttery and firm at the same time. The host was very friendly, knowledgeable and unobtrusively attentive. Lastly, themargaritas, I don't think I can ever describe the way they were expertly mixed and balanced.
