Fantastic dining experience. Came with a party of 8 right at opening. The staff was still getting the restaurant situated and... was noticeably frustrated we were there before they had finished. Aside from that, the service was impeccable! The boils are SOgood! The Pier 88 sauce is definitely the way to go. There isn?t any heat to the medium sauce, so it is a safe bet. Literally my new favorite seafood spot in Chesapeake! The bags are heavily seasoned but not super salty so I don't swell up like... a balloon after eating it! And the price is right!! This bag was $28.88 and included 1/2lb crab, shrimp, sausage, boiled egg,potatoe, & corn...I could NOT eat it all! We had their Strawberry Henny (which also had Grand Marnier in it!) Excellent service at the Chesapeake Sam's Circle location. The food is delicious and portion size is spot on. Happy hour all... day on Sundays includes drink and food specials however no boil bag specials. The pier 88 special sauce for the boil bag iswhat I order every visit. The shrimp are large and taste really good. The lemon pepper wings are a favorite of mine also. Theonly negative is there are no green vegetable options or salad. I almost left. I took my sister and mother for lunch. It was a while before the young lady that seated us returned to take out... drink orders. Another young lady came right after and said she would be our server and went to to take our drink orders, I lether know someone else already did and then those drinks arrived. After she left a third young lady came and said she would beour server. Lexis. Third time really is the charm because Lexis was amazing. She was very attentive and patient. Lexis made ourmeal service as wonderful as her customer service skills were. All of the food was so good, the sweet tea was on point and Ihighly recommend Pier 88 and will definitely return for a seat in her section of responsibility. Read more
