I would first like to thank Alan for helping us out, offering a refund, and trying to explain what the heck is going on with... this establishment. Secondly, I would like the pictures speak for themselves. We ordered about 100 worth of food and this iswhat we got. The picture did NOT match what we saw on the official menu online. When you order 18 pieces of sashimi (for about45$) and get 6 crab sticks ?. When you order 50$ worth of sushi and you get this?. When the restaurant turns it around andsaid ?well you should?ve specified the type of sushi you wanted or asked to change it?. Sloppy. Disappointing. Read more

An absolutely superlative restaurant which I?ve been lucky enough to serve, make sushi and dine at for a total of two enjoyable... and memorable years. I can speak from firsthand experience that YamaChen?s family run core is reliable, amiable, great at whatthey do, and some of the most helpful and tolerant people I?ve ever met, even willing to work with my (admittedly awful attimes) scheduling! Not only that, but the numerous employees I?ve known there are similarly dedicated individuals, and some areamong my closest friends. I do hope for those of you reading this, you?ll give Yama a try! Personally, I favorite avocado rollswith spicy mayo, but you can?t go wrong with anything on the menus. Thanks again to Alan, Apple, and Mrs. Lily for including mein the Yama family! Read more

Will NOT return, not real food. Walked in at 7:30pm, placed orders at 7:45, got food at 8:15 left by 8:30. Service was great,... atmosphere was good, but the food took forever to come us, we ordered sushi, ramen, and stir fry. Sushi was ok. The ramen wasnot satisfying at all. There was a whole hard boiled egg, not the expected ramen egg. Noodles were from dried package and forsome reason there were cherry tomatoes in it, gross. The stir fry should be on an episode of kitchen nightmares. Again, thenoodles tasted like they were from a package, like dried ramen noodles that you get for 75 cents from the college store. Thechicken was definitely frozen Tyson chicken strips, see the picture they have painted on grill marks. It?s stir fry use freshchicken, I don?t understand why they try to cut these corners. Also, the plate had cherry tomatoes, not even cooked. I imaginethey boiled the noodles to death strained them, put the chicken and veggies on top and popped it in the microwave. The lowcaliber food does not match the inside atmosphere at all, do not be fooled. I spent $75 for Tyson chicken, no effort ramen, andWalmart sushi. Vote with your dollars and go somewhere else. Fantastic sushi and service! Great take-away packaging! Will order again! The only downside was the Kani salad. Paid the up... charge for the ?real crab? and was quite underwhelmed that it was just unseasoned crab with spicy mayo on soggy lettuce. Plus astrand of hair. Read more
