We booked a king balcony room for one night. My friend got married about three miles away and this was the only place available.... The staff was professional and polite. They switched our room after we returned from the wedding and discovered the tv didn'twork. The next morning when I showered, I found a used washcloth and towel in the bathroom of the new room. Overall it hasgreat water views. My husband and I agreed that we'd like to visit the area again. Read more

Positive: The staff was dry friendly. The hotel was clean. Free parking in the garage. There is near by small mall. Ok view from... the balcony. Negative: The bed was very uncomfortable as well as the furniture. 5 am a fire alarm went on and then off Outdated furniture. Construction is going on near it. Beach is a drive away. Read more

The restaurant is perfect for a quiet, quality dining experience. My daughter wanted to take me someplace nice for breakfast.... Thing about the IHOP, Bob Evans, and other local area restaurants, none would have the finer ambience with the Bay view, tablecloths, glassware and intimacy as Rod and Reel Restaurant. Hostess extremely attentive, even found a table close to a walloutlet to run my portable oxygen pump. The coffee was very, very good. The hostess customized a blend that seems popular.Breakfast meal was well done, bacon was not dry, home fries are like sliced fingerlings, tasty. Very relaxing atmosphere. Service was good. Highly recommend. Read more

Our experience was mixed. Check-in felt very mechanical. We were asked our name, asked to initial some forms, provide... payment, and then given keys and told the elevator was off to the right. No other information was provided such as WiFipassword, check-out time, or any type of info about if there was a complimentary breakfast or if even coffee was served in themorning, we received zero information about the amenities. Yes, I'm an adult and can look it up on the internet, but it wasvery odd to not be welcomed or given any hint of information as to what's available. We figured we could find it on a brochurethat was in the room. Nope, not a single piece of paper or anything in the room that told about amenities or restaurants. Itwas up to us to figure things out. The room? Overall the decor was pretty, a little worn, but nice. Upon entry to the room,it smelled of roses. Which is nice, but it was extremely overpowering to the point you felt like they were trying to coversomething up. The room had an under-the-window type cooling unit and the rain outside, it made the room more humid inside thanoutside. After taking a shower in the bathroom with the fan on, it took over an hour for the steam to leave the mirror. Thetelevision (with the information screen that tells you about the room) was not formatted correctly so you couldn't even read theinformation they were trying to provide to you. See pictures. It mentions your room as an ergonomic chair to make it comfyfor doing business things at the desk, look at the chair in my photos.... not quite relaxing in my opinion. With all thehumidity in the room, the blankets, our clothes, and the furniture all felt wet. It was a huge disappointment. The outside islovely, however with the construction, it is a bit difficult to get from your car (in the parking garage) to the main hotellobby. There was not a clear path marked for pedestrians and I saw many elderly people with walkers having to Read more
