We had a wonderful server, first of all. The restaurant is adorable and cozy. Our food was delicious, and we tried fried pickled... green tomatoes, corn bread, burger and chicken and waffles. However, I got very sick a couple of hours later. My fiance wasnauseous but we just assumed we ate too much, and since we don't eat out often, too much fried and salty food didn't sit wellwith me. And then my fiance ate the leftovers the next day... And got just as sick if not worse. Read more
I am so glad I visited here. The place is fantastic. Elegant southern ambiance and flawless friendly service and staff. They... have 3 menus, lunch, late afternoon light menu that starts 3pm and dinner menu that starts 5pm. One of the best whiskey andbourbon lists I've ever seen. Worthy of a Louisville or a Vegas place. That just there is worth the visit. I had the doubleburger and maybe in the best patties I've ever had. Juicy, fresh and natural taste. This was one of the best dinners of my life. My husband and I visited this restaurant for St Valentine and we left definitely... satisfied. From service to food this place was great. Allow extra time as food I'd made from scratch and to die for. Fried Brussels... sprouts were out of the world Kentucky hot chicken is hot but ever so tasty as is the Carolina pulled pork sandwich. Everythingis farm to table in scratch kitchen. Amazing. The decor inside was really cozy not your typical chairs it felt like you were back at home. Music selection was really good... too. I order the chicken and waffles with a cornbread appetizer. The food was amazing initially, but when I got home I didfeel somewhat nauseous assuming I ate too much I thought nothing of it. The following day I ate the leftovers and becamenauseous again not too sure if it was the grease used or maybe the breading on the chicken.
