Solid and reliable Japanese restaurant that delivers on all the classics. Great for takeaway. The people that work there are... very nice and have gone above and beyond a few times to help out. Read more

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the sophisticated atmosphere and calming music. I liked the setup. The staff were... all very welcoming and polite, too. I got the kurokatsu lunch set ($16) and was pleased with the amount of food. I wouldn?thave paid $24 for this outside of the lunch special, though. Some of the flavors and textures like the miso soup and katsu arespot-on but other things like the rice weren?t exactly right. I thought it was weird that they served honey mustard sauce withthe katsu instead of tonkatsu sauce like you?d get in Japan. Another thing is that a few of the plates were cracked or chippedand the bowl the miso soup was served in was kind of faded which I thought was a little gross. Food particles can get stuck inthe crevices of cracked dishes, they should probably throw that away instead of using it. Overall it was a good, well-balancedmeal and the service is really attentive but the food isn?t as perfect as it should be at this price point. There are places inBoston with better sushi that are cheaper. Read more

Chinese owned Japanese restaurant. Attached photo is the sushi lunch. No wasabi on rice. Too much rice in each piece. I wouldn't... call this sushi. Servers are very kind and friendly, tho. Read more

Went for lunch and got the sushi and sashimi special. The sushi was well made and fresh, albeit a bit on the small side... compared to their peers. The combo did come with miso soup, salad, and a small appetizer plate with so the value turned out tobe very good in my opinion. The servers were very attentive. Read more
