Our waiter was incredible and worked so hard all evening when we were there for dinner. Two thumbs way up for an awesomely... cooked set of meals. Nate needs a raise and everyone else there too you all are so friendly and deserve rest and complimented onsuch great service. Read more
Yikes! Talk about old and outdated. The place actually smelled old. Service was bad, food was horrible, except for the loaded... baked potato soup. Server never asked if we wanted anything else before he brought the check. I had previously ordered pie,and my husband also wanted a piece. After the server dropped the check and walked off, we literally called out to get hisattention. My half a turkey sandwich looked like packaged lunch meat on old toast with unripened tomato, lettuce, mayo, andonion. My husbands French dip looked like it was made for a child. And, after he took out two good sized pieces of fat, therewas not much left. They really skimped on the meat for both sandwiches. Lastly, for a place that is supposed to be known fortheir homemade pies, they sure didn’t taste fresh. My chocolate cream pie tasted like they poured pudding in a stale piecrust. Food and service have been hit or miss for years, but driving steadily downward more and more of late. It seems regardless of... time of day or number of tables occupied, food is sub par and seems to take an eternity; staff is never rude, but rarelyparticularly friendly or attentive. Staffing, of course, has been problematic, which is why I gave three stars rather thanlower. Read more
I would really like to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but… All the staff that we came in contact with were very... friendly, I also only saw four of them, they were very understaffed. I didn’t mind the polite suggestions to sit elsewhere,order otherwise in order to avoid a longer wait, I didn’t necessarily even mind the expected longer wait since it was clearwalking in that there would be one. The real frustration came when we checked out and realized we’d been charged ‘extra’for things that, according to their menu, were included in the price of our meals. We don’t eat out often and for the $30 thismeal cost us, the wait combined with the hidden costs simply wasn’t worth it for us. Read more
