From a breakfast junkie, this is my new favorite breakfast spot in Chicago. The dishes were very unique soul food takes on bfast... with a homemade feel. The service was top notch. If you're ever in Chicago you MUST visit. It's a small space so get there early or else you'll be waiting in line to be seated.... The food is???????? Outstanding waffles and French toast with very friendly service. French toast flight comprised four pieces: a blue berry one,... a strawberry one, a lemon one and caramel. Yum yum good. stunning service. the servers and management are all attentive and incredibly friendly. they have a ton of weekly specials that... rotate. apparently the french toast is the biggest attraction here; we got some savory dishes, though ? just phenomenal. thebourbon chicken omelet has large peppers and incredible sauce. the biscuits and gravy is so good. the gravy is buttery and rich.the scrambled eggs came out PERFECT with just a little bit of run that residually cooked on the plate (5 stars ? most placesovercook scrambled eggs). will 100% be back to try more dishes.
