Additional Information
We came here for breakfast on our last morning in Chicago. We sat outside on a really lovely morning. My sister ordered the... cold brew and I had a London fog latte on ice. Both were delicious. I got the egg white omelette with turkey bacon. The eggswere extremely fluffy and the cheese and spinach were great inside. The little tomato avocado salad had some dressing thatcomplemented the omelette so well and the turkey bacon was cooked to perfection. The waitress was super nice and the food cameout really quickly. Highly recommend. Read more
If you are a planner, this is where you want to be. I am not a planner and tried to walk in this restaurant for breakfast for 1... year and finally made it (only 25 minutes wait was acceptable) typical waiting time is very long and personally don't like toplan the breakfast location ahead. I was glad it was worth the wait as the produces have a much better quality than other placesand the vegan options strikes! The plate presentation is also well cured and the attention of details makes this place rankingmuch better than other places. It is a little more expensive than others, however it is totally worth it. They also have freshfruit juices with NO sugar added! This is particularly rare around. The hashbrown were all cut and presented in a squared shapedform, not just the classic disordered small mount. The service was great and the waiter asked several times for a coffee refill, which is much appreciated! Definitely will have to change my habits to book some breakfast to make sure I don't miss out againon this! Will definitely be back! Read more
Really delicious food! That’s the first thing that really matters. Then the ambience was wonderful especially on a summer... evening with cool breeze. We were a party of seven and everyone enjoyed themselves. Portions are large for a few of us and wedidn’t have space for desserts, pity. I have the scampi pasta and it’s probably one of the best I’ve had. The corn brothwas wonderful and full of umami (I thought it could be too sweet but it wasn’t). I tried my friend’s vegan bowl and the riceand shiitake mushrooms were so yummy! Great place for groups with all sorts of diet preferences. Read more
Bumping place… always packed, but great food! Environment: 9/10. This place is packed! Lots of folks here on a Sunday Brunch... - loved the vibe. Some of the tables can be a bit sticky… we sat at the bar and moved to a table - both were. Definitely greatvibes and cool little bakery area. Food: 8.5/10. Solid food and no major complaints. Also, didn’t blow my mind either - butI’d definitely be back as a regular place to frequent. I may be spoiled by really really good food though. The glasses smella bit like dishwasher - maybe give the dishwasher a quick wash? Service: 7/10. Whilst sat at the bar, every person behind washeads down avoiding eye contact. It was real disappointing. Had one guy finally come up to us after 10 minutes - I think he wasa manager. He was solid. Also, Jack was pretty good too. Overall, great place that is bustling with tourists and locals. I’dsay they just need a little more attention on service and they can get across the line in my books. Read more

This place was highly rated which is why we decided to give it a try on our last day here in Chicago. We got there around 8:30... am (it opens at 8 am) and were told there was 45 minutes wait while half the restaurant were empty. I am sure there is a reasonfor it but I just don’t know myself. Since there were a few spots left at the bar, we decided to just have our breakfast whilestaring at the bartender debating whether it is socially acceptable to order a whiskey on the rocks before 9 am. Sorry Idigress: the fluffy pancakes were indeed fluffy. In fact, it was so fluffy that we almost ordered a second one. I had also afried chicken burger with fried eggs. I have to say this was the best burger I had that had a fried egg in it. It was just alittle weird that I ordered coffee to go with it but that was on me. Overall it is a great place. You gotta check it out whilevisiting Chicago! Read more
