My husband and I visited our daughter in Chicago Saturday. We went to Beatrix for lunch. What a wonderful dining experience. The... food was amazing. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly staff. Even the chairs were comfortable. My husband and I had thechicken enchiladas and our daughter had the avacado toast. The enchiladas had a little kick but not too bad. Very flavorful. Ourdaughter said the toast was very good. It looked delicious. I certainly will dine there next time we are in Chicago. Thank youfor a great lunch. Read more
We were really excited to have brunch here for our date. The food was fantastic but the customer service with who we thought was... a manager was rude and then the customer service lacked with our waiter. Our guess was waiter was new or just overwhelmed. Amazing brunch! It was still available at 15:00, we got in without a reservation on a Saturday, the service was fast and had... good recommendations. We got the Mexican scrambled eggs with guacamole and shakshuka - both delicious. Will come back! Read more

I really like the restaurant because it's good for multiple occasions - casual hangout, coffee, drinks, more formal dinner, etc.... The service is exceptional. Some of the food is great value, and they have so many options to be gluten free, vegan, etc. Cuteatmosphere and vibe. The vibe is bustling and busy, but you can hear the people around you.
