I don’t write a ton of restaurant reviews but when it’s this good pics and a review are needed. Came here last minute after... plans fell through and it was so good!! The pricing is relatively cheap and what you’d expect at a bar. The food- phenomenal!Didn’t just taste like bar food. I have the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the prime rib sandwich. We both loved whatwe ordered. I’m very picky when it comes to chicken sandwiches and this has to be in my list of top three I’ve had inChicago. I also love coleslaw and the coleslaw was very rich and creamy. The fries were also great as they weren’t salty andjust right. My boyfriend said he really like the prime rib sandwich also. Not sure why the reviews are so high. Foodwise, maybe my worst lunch ever, 0 stars. My wife took one bite of the German potato... soup and quit, incredibly salty and tiny portion. I got the fish and chips and attached a picture of the fish. Overcooked, dry,and terrible. Super disappointing. I hate to waste food, but I couldn't eat it. Even the side of fries we ordered were bad,burnt and shriveled. Surprised and sad because it was a rare lunch date. The server was nice though and comped the soup. Wedidn't asked for anything, but I wanted to leave this review because it would have helped me avoid this mistake. Read more
