I lucked out with street parking right in front.. I ordered the chicken plate along with a few empanadas... my usual order. But... the empanadas were stale, very hard. The chicken plate was ok... they usually provide a few slices of lime but not this time. Mywaitress didn't come back to my table so I asked another waiter for something to drink. Her service was poor. She eventuallydropped off water and darted away from my table so I wasn't able to ask for limes. I ran out of water but she never came by toask if i needed anything or to offer additional water. I was so unhappy with my food and service on my visit. I was there yesterday and my experience was not good with the waiter, he never brought us the drinks and he gave us a soup that... we never ordered, and the answer was I'll pack it. We asked for a chicarrón and the arepa was super hard, you couldn't evenbreak it with a hammer, the waiter's response was, that's how it's coming out. wow a waiter is supposed to work if you tip butthis man has no idea about that. I come here regularly for takeout and the food is satisfying. It's a very comfortable spot; the atmosphere is especially... welcoming in the winter with the flames of the rotisserie grill on. The employees are friendly and enthusiastic to recommend adish if asked, and the food is filling and flavorful. The chicken is occasionally dry, but delicious nonetheless with a littletomatillo salsa(?). It's also worth mentioning that the prices here are generous. Read more
