I ordered the balboa. That was one hell of a sandwich. I kept passing by this place and I'm glad I didn't this time. Been... missing out on this sammich. I happened to stop by Cheesie's Saturday afternoon with a friend and they had a real fun video bingo game going on, so we stuck... around to play and eat. Cheesie's has the thickest, most buttery grilled cheese sandwiches anywhere, they are literally 4"-5" ofthick melty deliciousness! Read more

This place used to be pretty good but it is not anymore. My boyfriend and I ordered The Mac to share. They used to use decent,... legit mac and cheese. However, we ordered it tonight and they literally gave us plain, dry macaroni noodles sandwiched betweentwo slices of burnt American cheese on bread. It was not good at all. I am so stoked for this review because; 1. I never went to the place and 2. I only had a single bite of the fare. My spouse... went to lunch with her sister and brought home some leftovers which were totally rat fxckd by the kids which I unknowingly tookto work the next day... This nibble and dribble that I had from Cheesie's was nothing compared to how it is served or intendedand I was floored, it was that good. The cheese is quality and the fresh jalapeños were crisp. The fried pickles werent overlygreasy and the chipotle mayo/sauce (i have no idea what its referred to on the menu) was outstanding. Balanced and yet notheavy.
