Chicago Empanada Mama is such an accommodating and customer focused take out eatery. We placed a rather large order with the... game day special and just about everything they had on the menu the night before. Ordered online for the next day delivery by1:30 pm. Although they were very busy the food came on time and it ALL was very DELICIOUS! It was my father?s 84th birthday andhe saw Chicago Empanada on WGN TV and he insisted on their empanadas for his special birthday meal. Thank you for making his dayso special and making all the food so perfectly and thanks for the extra cupcakes. I can?t recommend this place enough. It is not often I get wowed by a take out food experience, but I did from the empanadas, ceviche, rice, and coconut flan at... Chicago Empanada Mama. The empanadas feature a flaky but not soggy crust, with fillings that burst with flavor. The roasted porkand cheese is my favorite. The ceviche is outstanding! It has the right amount of shrimp and veggies, so good . In my mind therice is the showstopper, with never ending flavor and oh the olives in the rice take it to another level. For dessert thecoconut flan is a must try. I cannot wait to order from Chicago Empanada Mama again soon. Read more
