I got the biscuits and gravy. Described in the menu as, "#16 biscuits, chipotle sausage gravy, over easy eggs, cheddar potato... cake." Made with base of potato cake, egg on the cake, biscuit on the egg, and smothered with the gravy. Egg cooked perfectly, biscuit soft and flaky, but the potato cake really seemed to only add texture, not flavor. The Chipotle seemed to overpower thecheddar. The service was lackluster at best. When I walked in, there were 3 tables occupied of about 16 tables. I noticed allthe tables already had flatware and water glasses on them, except the one where I was seated. The woman who sat me and myserver, both, did not pay attention to this fact. I ended up getting up from my table to get the flatware I did not have fromanother table, after water and coffee were brought out. Why was this not noticed then? It seemed as if paying attention to thetables was not a priority. To this point, after finishing my meal, the busser was the only one who offered to get me a secondcup of coffee. The busser was more of a server than the server was. The atmosphere that one walks into says it is a moreupscale yet adventurous dining experience. The food fits the atmosphere, the service does not. I’m going to give a five stars on the burger and fries. The meat was thick. The burger tasted great. I ate off it for two... days. Love it Read more

The food was terrible. The restaurant is in the lobby of the Courtyard hotel. The Caesar Salad tasted more like a salad with... ranch. The biscuits looked like they came from a can and were terribly dry. My wife's salmon was served over some tomato pastefrom a can and the potatoes that came with it were not cooked. It's a lobby bar that serves some bad food masquerading as agastro pub. I was hoping for a restaurant that was owned by a person that really cared but this restaurant was just a corporateshill. Nice atmosphere, great waitstaff. The logo is weirdly awesome - I shouldn’t care that much about a logo but I do. Menu-wise,... their mac and cheese was wonderful, their truffle fries yummy. But the real show stopper is the sheer quantity of quality mules. If you like mules, come here. Read more

This restaurant is in the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile, but there is a separate entrance from East... Ontario Street. We went for lunch on a weekday, around 11:20am, and had no issues finding a table. By the time we left, therewere a few other people there, but that gives you an idea of crowds. I don't think finding a table will be a problem, and thereis full bar seating. We really enjoyed this restaurant. The menu read like a bar menu, but when the food arrived at the table,it felt elevated, and was full of flavor and delicious! The draft beer menu was solid, but the wine and cocktails menu wasextensive. We didn't try them, but they apparently specialized in Moscow mules, because there were many on the menu. It had beendinner, I probably would have dove in, because both the mules and the cocktails looked interesting. The service was quick, andthe server was really friendly and attentive. Read more
