The food looked good and it was ok but it wasn't amazing ??????? I think my favorite part was the agua de maracuya. The little... ceviche appetizer with crackers and tostadas they give right away was ok but there was this acidity to it that just didn't feelright. It was probably old so it tasted weird. We ended up splitting both dishes so that we each got to try some seafood butalso wanted to see what their birria was like. It's a beef birria. The tacos were almost room temperature and the cheesewasn't..... melty eventhough it's supposed to be like a quesadilla type taco. The meat was soft and juicy, it was pretty good.The consomé was nothing super special. Overall, it was good enough that I might get it again if I return. Then we had theVuelve a la Vida cocktel. It had shrimp, crab meat, oysters, and octopus. It wasn't bad but it was a bit too sweet for my taste.Wouldn't buy it again. There are a few other things I'd like to try, they have a pretty big menu, so I'll probably be back. Ohand now that I know it's BYOB, I'll be sure to take a beer or 6. If I forget.... who am I kidding I'm not going to forget thatpart BUT IF I DO then that maracuya drink was pretty good. Read more
