I ordered my food through Uber Eats, and as soon as I put my spoon down I had to write this review. I order the jerk chicken... with 3 sides and the meat was juicy, fresh, and flavorful. I added a little extra meat because I was sharing and it?s turns outI didn?t even have to do much of that because the portions were large. The rice and macaroni was delicious. My first taste of Garifuna was when they had catered our lunch. I had the Jerk chicken, stewed chicken, beans and rice and... Caribbean steamed cabbage! It was all very flavorful and melt in your mouth! Hold up! I didn't even get to the real star of theshow which was the caramel cake! Omg! I didn't want a slice, give me the whole freakin cake! Amazing food. I have been coming here for year and they never disappointed me. The Belizean ox tails is to die for and the... potato salad. The Belizean long Island compliments the food and will leave you with a full belly and a smile. First time eaters. Had time to kill and wanted to find a new different food experience near Midway and this place exceeded... expectations. Wow. Love the lentils dish and red beans and rice stew. I took the risk of ordering from Garifuna Flava for the first time through Uber Eats ???? The food arrived within the hour... surprisingly. I got the Jerk Chicken w/ 3 sides; rice & beans, mac & cheese, and fried ripe plantains. I also got an order oftheir Belizean potato salad. Definitely satisfied ???? Read more

Out of the two Belizean restaurants in Chicago, this is by far the best one. Food has better taste and the granachas are very... good.. The server (i forgot his name, is the one that used to play soccer) is really nice and funny!! Read more
