So I had my first experience of a Chicago deep dish pizza at Giordano?s on Jackson Boulevard West and I can honestly say it was... worth the wait. That wait was close to an hour and that is something you need to know before going for one. Pizzas are madefresh and given how thick they are, they take much longer than a traditional pizza. Great experience for foodies, Giordano'shas been serving Chicago's famous deep dish pizza since 1974 and have a great selection of drinks to wash it down. Read more

Over hyped Pizza Chain! We went to Giordanos as suggested by couple of my friends and the place was huge. Staff is... friendly. The vegetable pizza we have ordered came to us after 25 minutes as told by the waiter. We have ordered cheese breadand drinks. Drinks were so strong and nice. Cheese bread was so tasty and authentic. Vegetarian pizza was so disappointingactually. It was so heavy as expected but I wish it was more tasty than it was. I?ll try to order other pizzas whenever I goagain. Read more

A must for Chicago deep dish pizza! I went on a Friday, Giordanos was not too busy, I was there by myself. Service was a bit... slow and waiter did not come by and check on me much. My water glass sat empty until i finally flagged the waiter down. I hada small meat lovers pizza. This pizza did not disappoint! If you like a deep dish pizza, Giordanos is the place to go! I havenever had anything but the deep dish pizza. Read more

Of course when you come to Chicago, you have to try the famous Chicago deep dish. Pizza was good but I prefer thin pizza.... Calamari was super good! Fried perfectly and also had fried banana peppers and thinly sliced fried lemons. And the Caesar saladwas good. Good dressing and good amount of Parmesan. Read more

So I had to try out Giordano's since it's one of the popular deep dish pizza chains alongside Lou's. I have to say though that... Giordano's did not live up to the standard I had with Lou's. Be aware that the pizza takes about 30 minutes to make!! Not a graband go pizza spot. Food I got a personal pepperoni deep dish pizza since the personal size comes with limitedtopping/customization options. The cheese and pepperoni were pretty good and I like how the cheese is on top at Giordano's. Butthe crust was not good. It was soggy and was almost falling apart as I picked it up. I also thought that the pizza would comeout in the silver pan, but it came out on a regular plate (not sure if this was because it was a personal size or if it wascause it was like 9:30pm). Atmosphere A casual spot with plenty of booth or table seating.. It's got a lot of decorations withpizza related puns and Pricing My first ever Chicago pizza so don't have much experience to compare the prices to other Chicagopizzas. The small pizza (says it serves 2 but I ate the whole thing) was $21 and definitely filled me up. Service Service wassuper good. My server explained any questions I had and was very friendly. Estimated times for when the food would come out weregiven and I never felt like I was wondering when the food would come out. Other Located right on State street and withinwalking distance from many hotels in downtown Chicago. Read more
