I have tried this place a few times. Their sandwiches are overall bland and flavorless to be completely honest but I did like... their Reuben hotdog the one time I tried it. It's okay food, nothing great. Read more
Sandwhiches are amazind and insanely helpful people
Third strike and I'm done with this place. One time had a bagel sandwich that was steamed so when opened it was a soggy mess. ... Another time the hot dog buns were stale. This last time, I ordered a salad that comes with chicken but was upcharged for thechicken that was part of the item. No more for me. Read more

I have visited the the Halsted Street Deli several times at their Clark and Lake location, decided to try out this location to... see how it compared. I got my usual of "#7 Lake St. (Roast Beef)" additionally I got a cup of chili as it was a bit chillyoutside. Even with a 10 minute walk back to my office I found the chili still hot, so a good thing, though it did seem bit overcooked, not by much, and it didn't bring anything down from the experience. The service was alright and the turn around wasrelatively prompt. The quality of the sandwich was excellent. Read more
