A college bar with the confidence to be a friendly, neighborhood joint for those of us who haven't been in a classroom since... Bartles & Jaymes was the Ladies' Night special. You might even rub shoulders with an owner from time to time. (Pro Tip: thataccent comes from Arkansas near the Texas border) Bartenders are talkative and knowledgeable when you want them to be,otherwise you can drink unmolested by idle chitchat. Top Marks! Maybe had the best service of my life at this bar tonight. Fairly busy thursday, went with the fellas for a couple drinkypoos,... and weren't with an empty drink for more than 30 seconds before we had 3 waitresses asking what we needed.
