Menu for La Costa in Chicago, IL

I?ve been to so many Mexican sea food restaurants in all of Chicago land area and if someone asked me which is the best? Well... I?d say La Costa hands down! The food was beyond amazing as well as the drinks I love the whole concept of them serving you theseafood inside the coconut and pineapple and stuffing it with the octupus, crab, shrimp, and sauce with cheese! it just givesthe food such a great taste! Over priced and quality of food is not that great. Also portion sizes are way to small. Place gets full mostly Sundays. Any... other day you should be fine. Bathrooms are clean and personnel is also nice. Only problem I had was that I felt that since ourtable had eight people they didn't provide the service i believed they would give. Worst customer service ever... we came back here for a second time, we waited to be seated for a table for 2 since the hostess... said it would be 15 min and took my boyfriends name for the waiting list... 30 min later they had seated 3 couples that werethere after us, we asked to why they were seated first since we had been waiting for a while, she quickly said we would benext... another 30 min later they took another couple next, ¿1 hour to be seated? We got up to tell hostess to take myboyfriends name of the waiting list and my boyfriend name was no longer there, disappointed, so disorganized on seating people,3 hostess and still so disorganized.... definitely never coming here again.. good food but terrible customer service Read more
