I totally enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant. We ordered the Dover sole for two and absolutely enjoyed the feast. Service... was prompt and quick. La Sardine was a very pleasant experience and is a hidden gem in the west loop. Now that McDonald's is taking over there, it is... a pleasant surprise to find authentic french restaurant culture so close by a Fast Food Chain's headquarter. The smoke salmonomelette I had for lunch tasted great with fine nuances in taste and texture that certainly reflects french influence. Theambiance was also authentic, and you felt like you are visiting a restaurant in Bordeaux downtown. Read more
