On Sat, September 17, 2022, I went to Leons at around 7:00 pm. There was a 15-20 min. wait outside as only three customers at a... time were allowed inside. I bought a large order of hot links. They were DELICIOUS?The barbeque ribs...NOT SO MUCH ?? It seemsseveral establishments that sell ribs set the fire ???? too hot, or the meat isn't being watched, or a combination of bothresulting in the outside meat being CHARRED and HARD to chew...YOU know what I mean. ????. The meat tastes BURNED. The meat alsohas minimal smoked flavor. I didn't pay $25.00+ for BURNED BARBEQUE? From now on, I will INSPECT the barbeque ribs or tips,which I've decided probably get THE MOST ATTENTION since it's likely their best seller. Took the Red Line down to Roosevelt and then Orange Line to Kedzie. I ordered the Rib Tips small. Went to Grant Skate Park to... eat it but had to take the Orange Line back. It was the Rib Tips, fries and 2 pieces of bread. It was solid but nothing crazyand also I had to eat it in the humid outside on a bench so that wasn't the best either. I grew up in the area, orderred this often and I must say this food is a huge disappointment. Everything from the sauce to the... links and even the rib tips are not the same. Im not sure if its under new management but the food lacks "soul", for lack of abetter word. Wont be orderring from here anymore. I had the links and rib tip combo. Super greasy and very dry. My girlfriendorderred the chicken tenders and she stated " bland with no flavor". Read more
