The atmosphere is such a vibe. The staff are funny and nice. The food is amazing. It's really hard to beat around the bush. I... got the Luke's Pizza and as other reviews, it really lives up to its hype. The Italian beef was also amazing. I asked for a togo box really late right before closing and they were super helpful! Stopped by Luke?s when we were downtown. We ordered an Italian beef but with no peppers or anything. Wasn't that good, it was... our first Italian Beef in Chicago, definitely user error because we soon learned that we prefer sweet or hot pepper on ourItalian Beef. One surprising thing about Luke?s is that our order was ready before we even sat down. It wasn?t very busy, but I have to say it... because even then, it was surprisingly quick. The Chicago dog was great! I also got the beef sandwich with mozzarella and sweetpeppers. You must get the cheese sauce side if you get the beef sandwich. I realized that half way through the sandwich.Warning: the beef made the bread soggy pretty quick. If soggy bread is not your jam then avoid that sandwich.
