Not what I was expecting. I expected more for what I paid. Service was slow and we actually got our coffee drinks after we... finished our meals. The staff excuse was " only on barista today." Then hire another barista. The food was good, but again, notfor what I paid, and the wait. The coffee when it did arrive was excellent. Very strong and bold. However, I will give thisrestaurant a pass in the future. In their defense, the Chicago marathon was that day, and the place was packed. However, wevisited other stores and eateries in the nearby area at the same time or close to it and there were no issues. This is amanagement problem. Read more
Love the decor, very cozy and rustic. We had the salmon Benedict, mushroom omelette and side of breads. It was absolutely... delicious, large portions too! This place might have just became our favorite breakfast/ brunch place in the area. Couple downsides. No table service, order at counter, they will deliver the food, but you?d have to pick up your own coffee at thecounter. The price is on a higher end, but it?s worth it. Read more
Such a beautiful esthetic when walking in. It has a boho feel with a hint of French Cafe. The menu is very simple but can be... complex, a little more detail would speed up the ordering. We choose this place to celebrate a birthday. We were looking morefor an experience. The service was definitely lacking. There was only two people attending the front. No one was connectingwith guest. The person that was at the register was not personable or knowledged about the items on the menu. The musicdefinitely did not match the decor. The place was rather busy, and while I stood in line the woman in front of me was beingmisunderstood and the man behind me was being rather inpatient. This place may definitely benefit from improving management andthe presence of happy people. I love the French vibe. You can sit at your own private table, or a shared table with a charging station. There's an outdoor... vibe with all the beautiful greenery and fresh flowers at every table.
