Hands down the best omakase we've had in Chicago or anywhere else for that matter. Truly exceptional flavor in every single... dish with an overall menu that is just about beyond reproach. (There was only a single piece—just one—that didn't wow me andeven then, it was bad or anything). Interior is very intimate and the vibe is very quiet. A little livelier and it'd be justabout perfect for me but, hey, it's not all about me. If you're looking for a first-class sushi dinner, this is the spot foryou. The best sushi I’ve ever had in Chicago. I lived in Tokyo and Kyoto for years and really struggle to find authentic, fresh... sushi anywhere in the states. BUT Chef Sangae has done it! The tasting menu featured a delicious progression of flavors and thespecials were just as good. 10/10. Also, the ambiance and service are impeccable. Obviously it’s a very delicate diningexperience.
