Excellent job for lunch today. Always a pleasure dining here with Papa Chris.
Was in Skokie at the Backlot Bash. The band I wanted to see ended and I was leaving, while walking to my car, I checked Google... maps for "gyros" and this was the place that came up. High rating, close to where I was, easy drive. Sold. Google maps was notwrong. Very good gyros. Very friendly people. And the view from my table was cool too. Papa Chris? has been at this location over for 35 years and we know why! The food is sensational. I got the gyro plate and my... aunt got the gyro sandwich. The portions were generous and tasty. I had enough food to bring back home for another meal. Thedecor inside makes us feel like an old school Chicago place. Right off of Touhy Avenue, this is an easy location to go to.
