The Pho dac biet was incredible. I heard about this place online and had to check it out. It was very flavorful and the portion... sizes for the meat was 12/10! I would come back to Illinois for this! Definitely recommend trying if you are in the area! Read more
I love their soup here. Try it! Edit: We ordered again the Special noodle beef soup, my husband's fave. I wanted to get the... chicken we ordered last time but I forgot what it was. Pho can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but not a lot of restaurants open earlier than 10 or 11 am. Pho nam lua opens... at 9 am so I was able to get a delicious, fresh and hot bowl of pho to warm up my belly. The pho broth was light, sweet andclean but still had the umami/deep rich flavor from the slowly cooked beef bones. I got the pho dac biet #10 which came with anassortment of meats, including a tender ox tail! My partner got rice platter #51 which had grilled pork chop, Chinese sausage,over hard fried egg, steamed rice, a little dish of fish sauce and a side of canh/clear broth. Both our dishes were thequintessential Vietnamese breakfast and of course we enjoyed them with cafe sua da or Vietnamese iced coffee as well. It was theperfect breakfast! 10/10 Read more
Cute place. Very cozy. Staff is very efficient and attentive. We had the Super Bowl, lemongrass chicken and vietnamese iced... coffee. It was good, lots noodles but, unfortunately my wife did not taste the lemongrass. Will try something different nexttime. Priced a tad higher usual. Will come back for another try. Read more
