I truly cannot express how fantastic this place is. My partner and I ordered the evenings tasting menu along with the wine... paring. The favors were amazing, intricate and nothing less than incredible. Please offer our compliments to the chef andkitchen staff. The wine tasting selections were also perfectly curated and coordinated with the night's food offering. Wow, what an amazing culinary and sensory experience. Time slowed down and floated pleasantly as we enjoyed the tasting menu at... Sepia over a two hour dinner. As someone who has a few dietary restrictions, I really appreciate a tasting menu with a fewdifferent choices (Sepia has 4 for each course) so that I can choose plates without having to ask for substitutions oraccommodations. Portions were perfect, tastes, textures, and presentation were right on, and the service was kind, engaging, andinformative. Highly recommend for a nice meal if you are visiting Chicago. So glad I chose to come to Sepia for my graduation celebration. The courses were amazingly delicate with layers of flavor that... complemented each other perfectly. The desserts are also a brilliant finish to the 3 prior courses and left my party and Ifeeling completely satisfied with our meal. The wait staff and servers are kind and friendly and the ambiance is lively but alsosophisticated. Of the other 1-2 star Michelin restaurant I’ve tried in Chicago, Sepia definitely is the best value! Every course was amazing! The flavors were so good and the service was wonderful. I also loved the free snapper on crispy rice... and bread from the chef at the start. My only complaint is I asked for my steak medium but one one piece was medium and one waswell done. I wasn’t hungry enough at that point to eat the whole thing other wise I probably would have tried to send it back.I probably should have just gotten it medium rare. Other than that it was such an amazing dinner and so many dishes surprised mesuch as the salad. I cannot wait to come back and see what I get next time! It’s also such a great price for a Michelinstarred restaurant in Chicago. Read more
