Hey wonderful neighbors I have never ever complained about a business in Rogers park but please be careful with El Rey Del Taco.... They gave me nachos with chicken quarter leg meat???????? they gave me the fat and the burnt chicken. When we told the ownerwith the glasses kindly he was very rude and was trying to defend his cooks he said " if you don't like the food then leave it "we asked the waitress if it was chicken breast and it obviously wasn't. The chicken tasted old and cooked in oil. And they arevery stingy with the salsas very cheap can't even fill the little cup half way. Horrible place horrible owner very nice waitressthough. Read more
Decide to stop in as it looked very promising from the exterior, was seated directly and immediately brought out chips, salsa... and a water. Waited what seemed 6-7 minutes for my lunch, i was extremely hungry that day... I did manage to drop the topportion of my sandwich on the floor, lol.... I had oysters for my appetizer, Al Ajo Langostinos al Gusto (Prawns in butter garlic sauce) for my main dish and a virgin Pina... colada. My friend had the shrimp pasta. Everything was delicious! First time dining here. We enjoyed the food here. If you like sea food and Mexican food, then give this place a try. Go early... since the place is small and it gets crowded during dinner time. They have their own parking lot but it doesn't have manyspaces. Read more
