My hubby wanted to take me to breakfast here for my birthday yesterday morning and I'm so glad he did! The food here is... delicious and very reasonably priced. First time attending, greeted by the window and was asked for a covid card... I ordered to go as I did not have one at the time.... Coffee and a breakfast combo, cheesy eggs were very fluffy with a side old crispy bacon, yummy! Potatoes were a golden brown,needed a bit of salt I thought. I'd love for this place to be my secret spot, but I want everyone to know how good it is. Every time we go back to Chicago, we... try to hit up Sweet Maple for breakfast. Something about the Midwest with their kindness and friendliness that just enhancesyour food and this place gives you helpings of that. While I love their coffee here, the pancakes are where it'd at. So largeand soft like eating a pillow in my mouth, haha. On this special day, like the photo of their chalkboard special I added shows,they were serving their CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES ????. It?s been so long since we sat down and enjoyed breakfast at Sweet Maple. It was one of our favourites before Covid and we... ordered take-out during Covid so was excited to dine in again. The indoor seating area has been reduced from before with asection being used to manage the take-out orders. Looks like they built out a patio that will be nice during warmer weather.Back to the food! As usually everything tasted so delicious. We also got a side order of the pancake since it?s one of the bestaround. Beyond the delicious food, the owner and staff make you feel welcome. How many restaurants have the owner still workingand seating you at your table and apologising for the long wait?
