The biggest ripoff I have ever experienced. We had 4 tacos, two orders of rice and beans,a corona and a coke. I expected the... bill would be around $35. The bill was $52 before tip. No wonder in this spacious restaurant only one table was occupied. Ican't believe anyone would ever go back. Also, unlike the vast majority of sit down Mexican restaurants they don't give youcomplementary chips and salsa. That will cost you an additional $8. Read more

The presentation of the food is absolutely beautiful, the ambiance is super friendly I highly recommend the Tata Taco ????... don’t be afraid to try their craft tacos either. Is nice to have a place that represent our culture and food well, (we deservethis) You can tell they put so much heart to their food & work. Our waitress was Yaneth D. She was very attentive and was veryknowledgeable on the menu. I will definitely be coming back this time we will request the roof-top. (Sorry couldn’t providepicture of the presentation :( too excited to eat) Read more

Tata...tacos!! So man options. I tried four different ones and they were all delicious, but overall the pulled pork was the... best. The atmosphere makes you want to work the tacos off on the dance floor. I definitely want to make a trip back in thenear future to try the other varieties they have on the menu. My daughter had a shrimp burrito and she also was very happy. Read more

The tacos were nicely loaded and quite tasty. The mango margarita was also very mango-ey and nicely alcoholic. The bacon wrapped... jalapenos were also very delicious with one or two being mildly hot and the others took my breath away. But the heat was helpedby the really top notch horchata that our great server, Nacho, recommended when he saw me trying to quell the heat by sucking onthe ice left in my margarita. Looking forward to going again soon. Also should mention it was really nice sitting by the fullopen windows but not being fully outside with the bugs and all. And the bar stools were also comfortable, for additional plusplus! Read more

Let’s start with the positive: The Rooftop is a fun atmosphere where you could easily enjoy drinks and admire the Portage Park... neighborhood. The negatives: Way overpriced, 3 tacos with flavorless beans and so/so rice of little portion for $20. Side ofpapas (which are $5 ok cool) literally had 7 french fries on it. The tacos might be full of meat but the tortillas are small andthin and need a second one to keep it from falling apart. The server brought our food without napkins or silverware and actedpuzzled when I requested them (I guess I should eat rice and beans with my hands?). After we requested utensils, the serverproceeded to take 8 minutes to bring them back to us (getting drinks and checking on tables before getting us what we need toeat our meal). There are way better places to spend money on Mexican food in the city. The place is a complete rip-off! As I’mwriting this, I’m attempting to pay the check and he gave us someone else’s check.
