The view is amazing. We were lucky to catch fireworks too. The food and drinks were very good. The service was very slow and it... was a long wait between each plate. We found a park garage right across from the building. The dress code is more dressy,perfect to take cute pictures ?? Read more
Absolutely amazing experience! We requested a terrace seat on a Saturday night to watch the fireworks; however, due to bad... weather there was no food service outside. Instead the staff sat us as a table inside next to a window with the best view of thefireworks! Peter, our server, was FABULOUS! We absolutely adored him. He was so attentive, funny, informative, and a realpleasure. The food was to die for, the cocktails delicious. 10/10 will be back and requesting Peter to serve us again! Read more
Terrace 16 offered an amazing view of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan; and although the terrace was closed to dining and... drinking due to high winds, the indoor seating was lovely as well. The service was timely, but not rushed, and the staff wasattentive to our needs. Taking the name on the side of the building out of the equation this is probably one of the best roof top bars in Chicago. Note... that this place is called both Sixteen and Terrace 16. They are the same place. I will be putting this review in both places.The menus I had specifically said Terrace 16, so I'm thinking they changed the name at one point. I ended up going to a fewdifferent places just to give some background of my comparisons: Cindy's, Rooftop at the Nobu, Rooftop at the Wit, LH Rooftop,and Signature Lounge at the 96th. Terrace 16 is a clean bar and lounge with decent cocktail options and an assortment ofliquors. There is enough variety to make any cocktail you want, but the ones they have on the list are great. When I visit acity I tend to never go to the same place twice, yet this bar was good enough I thought it was worth a second visit. The staffwere all friendly and the ambience was not too lively. I was able to enjoy a nice drink with a fire pit on the roof while nothearing blaring music throughout my experience. I was able to also sit inside and enjoy a nice drink and bite while being ableto clearly hear the people I was conversing with. If you want a good cocktail, a decent view, and a nice atmosphere this is aplace worth stopping into. Read more
