We had such a great first time experience! I’m a local and I had never been here before! So glad I finally tried it! The... service was amazing! My wife and I enjoyed an evening and dinner event at The Albert (Chicago, IL), celebrating both our 15th wedding anniversary as... well as my milestone birthday. Words fail to accurately convey the truly amazing experience we had, which included a warm,personal greeting by the manager, Adam Jennings, a complimentary champagne toast and a handwritten card signed by every memberof the staff, attentive service and delightful conversation with our server, Ben, a delicious array of food and drinks, and evena personalized birthday dessert. If that wasn’t enough, the evening ended with a guided tour of the restaurant and hotel bythe manager, Adam, as he showed and explained the history and fun facts of the establishment. I went with some friends on the first day of Chicago Restaurant Week and they were already out of two dishes on their restaurant... week menu! The restaurant provided substitutions which was nice, however, the chocolate tart they served to replace the lemontart was at best 5/10. That being said, the main dish we ordered (four cheese ravioli) was delicious! It wasn’t busy at allfor a Friday evening which was nice for a lowkey evening. Overall, not bad for a hotel bar, decent IG photo ops, maybe skipdessert if you go. Read more

Loved this hotel and the dinner dining experience! Mariah was an incredible, uplifting and joyful guide to our culinary journey... - just a pure 100% delight! The tastes of our selections blew our minds, and we have tasted a LOT of things! Definitely suggestthis spot (and stay at EMC2). Selections: mussels, romaine salad (yes please all and any anchovies welcome!), tagliatelle andsalmon olivada. Oh and off menu dessert which we'll keep secret for now...
