Jibarito was so good!! I loved the garlic spread topped onto the plantains. The chicken platter with rice was good. The sampler... empanada plate was okay, but the cilantro tamarind sauce was delicious. Read more
This was an awesome experience. The Jibarito was top notch. I do not have a comparison as this was the first type of this... sandwich that I've ever eaten. Got a vegan jibarito, which came with rice and beans. The vegan jibarito is basically vegetables, which mostly meant bell... peppers, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Also got a veggie empanada, which similarly was a lot ofbell peppers. Was expecting more of a spicy food, but it really wasn't. I use to love this place. However today I was extremely disappointed. I waited 25 minutes to get my jibarito & rice. It... wasn?t even crowded when I got there. They had a full staff working. I went to the staff to ask for hot sauce & to let themknow my steak in the sandwich was cold. Instead of being nice, the person wanted .30 cents for extra sauce! seriously!
