the place is packed but you get seated quickly. bottomless coffee and good mimosas. i didn?t think the hollandaise was... exceptional but i would come back to try something else! great staff. oh! and i don?t know if this is usual, but they gave us alittle slice of apple spice cake to munch on while we looked at the menu. The French toast was absolutely incredible. Easily the best I've ever had. The coffee cake you get at the table is also so good.... And our waiter was hilarious! For a fun and funky diner vibe with a vast selection of breakfast and lunch dishes (including a ton of dietary accommodations),... Tweet is your spot. We were visiting Chicago from Pittsburgh and looking for a good brunch spot. This is one of the mostenchanting breakfast joints I?ve been to?and that?s saying something. We went on a Thursday afternoon (brunch time) and itwasn?t busy. Perfect! We were sat quickly with a small dish of chocolate chip coffee cake, a sweet touch. The waiter was funand bubbly, while being informative and helpful. He kindly answered all of our questions, even with a few ?dad jokes? thrownin. My favorite! He was masked, which was much appreciated. We started with water and coffee. These were filled consistently andthe coffee was great! Off to a great start? I had the French Toast with syrup and a side of Chicken Sausage. My friend got thestandard breakfast (eggs, meat, potato, etc.). The portions were big and filling?the value was great for the price. The FrenchToast was phenomenal: fluffy, perfectly browned and dusted with powdered sugar. AND it was served with good maple syrup, not theflavorless sugar water you find at some places. Meals were served with a fresh fruit cup and it was good too, not mushy andoverripe. Everyone enjoyed their food. As a visitor to the city, I?d recommend this spot to anyone coming through.
