This place is legit and not just a tourist attraction for foodies. I grew up with this kind of food and I expected nothing less.... Finally made it to Uncle Mike?s! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who craves, are interested, and curious... about Filipino breakfast cuisine. We were greeted with a smile by the staff as soon I stepped in the restaurant. We wereseated outside and the servers were very attentive to us and our needs. The meal started with lugaw, which reminded me of mychildhood. I ordered the baby bangus, longganisa, and fried egg combo and the meal absolutely brought me back to mychildhood?it?s that good! My boyfriend had the skirt steak, tocino, and fried egg combo and he absolutely loved it as wellbeing it was his first time eating Filipino breakfast. To top it all, the meal came with a small serving of champorado, whichwas a treat! Of course for those who are not as adventurous there are other options for you.
